I have a couple of the Caliente grille emblems. I am thinking of chopping one down to clone the Cyclone.

Hi all,

I know this is a really old thread but does anybody know how to attach Mr Mercury? It has the pen to guide it and then it has what looks like a tube that goes through. The old one looked like pop rivet but not sure how I would get a popper to come on that. I was thinking about like a nut and a screw maybe but wondered if there's some kind of trick?

I have used this product many times, if you prep the two surfaces the tape is almost permanent. OEM uses it on emblems and trim.

Jim has it right.
I have a good friend with a '62 Galaxie that has big heavy trim, a lot of it held on with this stuff.
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about
