64 Fuel tank

I am restoring a 64 Cyclone 2dr HT. Can anyone tell me if the Fuel Tank for a 65 -68 Mustang will fit my cyclone ??? I know that Comet, Falcon, Mustang share many comon parts. the size and dimentions look the same my main concern would be the bolt hole pattern.

Welcome HOVA235, I don't think they are the same, a Falcon tank won't even fit in a Comet I believe they are a unique piece.
No one I have found make a repo tank for the Comet except Crites Restoration makes a fiberglass one but it is a bit pricey
