It has been a long time since an update . Maybe Steve will offer up some pictures of the new power plant that will propel this rocket into the 8 second zone this year.

It's been too long since an update, I Changed a few things on the Comet since last time. Crank broke in the Comet last year and had to build a new Motor.

Steve, That doesn't look like it was cheap. HAHA I love it! Can't wait to see you running again. Maybe at Carlisle? I have a super clean original tunnel wedge intake sitting on my work bench as inspiration. Now i just need the rest of it! Mark

Mark, yea wasn't cheap, only sold a few organs for it. lol. Trying to make the Fords at Carlisle show, Still waiting on my torque converter and go over the trans as they were damaged when the motor let go. Driveshaft is done at least. Looking forward to Quarter aces, better not rain!! Hope to see you there.

Just got the custom 8" torque converter today and the C-4 is done. Still have a lot to do before Carlisle, then hope to test next week. Going to be close!

With all the holes in the headlight extensions I wonder if it whistles going down the road. Since the extensions are just pot metal a few holes shouldn't reduce the weight much. Now if you do that to the whole car then yes it would. :D
