64 big block comet
So ive been a mercury guy for a long time have a 1969 cougar and two 1964 comets one is a K code auto nice driver the other im pro streeting 460 stroker with 4spd 4 wheel disc brakes my question is about heades and oil pan to fit the comet i have removed the shock towersand installed a heidts front end any help on this would be great

This pan works for a M11 type conversion.

Canton,Milodon,others make the same type pan but are physically bigger making installation of the other stuff more difficult.
As for headers...I don't think there are any ready made,only custom deals. I converted a pair of 70 Torino CJ Hookers. A tube or two on each side fit ok and I ended up having to fab the others.Each tube was slip fit separately and I could actually get them on with the motor in the car. Really tight,however.This was in a 65.
I wish I would have spaced my front end crossmember 1 in lower so the motor would sit lower in the car. Would have made life easier on tunnel interference and header fitment.

thanks to all, I figured id have to do some header fabrication , thanks for the oil pan link i was even thinking fox body header swap might be close. I bought this project when my son told me he joined the army he's still in basic til the end of October
something to keep me busy .Its coming along pretty good still a lot of work Id post pics but i need to figure out how to do that yet

Yea it looks great!!! I'm guessing it is the 289 car. Looks like a fairly wide tire on back.Nice stance!!
