Might call FPA Pop...it's the combination that makes it tough! Dougs has 1-3/4 long tubes that'll work with the 351 and MII but not the z-bar; gotta be cable or hydraulic. I haven't found any yet but I'll keep lookin'! :D

we'll go with a hyd set up like we have 0n our dirt cars...none of that Z-bar....forgot to mention,,brain fade....we don't have orginal heads ,we have the ford raceing head.....N heads,,,, they use a different bolt pattern,so that may create another problem,,,our dirt track headers won't work ,,sure wish they would.............thank you ,,,,POP

The N heads are awesome but yeah, that's not gonna make getting an off the shelf header easy! Are they N351's or N352's? I don't know much about circle trackin' but I remember a lot of the sanctioning folks banned the 352's...I think...

Dougs does have one model that will work with the zbar. Model D660YS. Talk to Don at Pertronix and he can help you get the right one.

How the D660YS fit on mine. Notice the area where the zbar mounts and is clear without interference.

Needs this adapter on later 5.0 engines for the zbar to mount. It will clear this model of the Dougs. Available from California Pony Cars and others.

Looks like clutch actuation will be hydraulic. The biggest impediment is probably the unique exhaust ports on the N heads.
