I would check the shaft length , & if it is right, & the box is tight, I'd hang on to that box. you would be set up for 65 steering upgrade which is much better than 64.

The input shaft is longer on the 'Stang boxes though. I've got the original 5-turn box out of the Comet. Let me open it up. If it's serviceable (will definitely need a rebuild) how's $25 bucks + shipping (typically about $45)?

And yeah, like John said, if you've any intention of going to '65 steering....keep the one ya got!! :D

Also you cant put the quick steer kit on a big 1 1/8th shaft.

The place i bought the small sector shaft box from claims that theyre gonna ship me the correct hcc-ap big sector shaft v8 box. Im waiting to see if i actually get the correct box this time.
