Gas pedal

Howdy,

Just picked up a '64 Caliente hardtop. The gas pedal was missing, so I got one from Macs Antique Auto parts. It look's just like the one in the picture. My question is, does it just mount directly to the floor with the bolts? There's no hinge in the pedal, does it just bend with foot pressure? Sounds like a dumb question, but I'm not sure.

Yes mounts to the floor,& it just bends. a new one might be a little stiff. but breaking it in is fun!

Great, thanks for the answer . Really wasn't sure. I like the stance too. On to the E brake assembly next.

Nice ‘64!!! The e-brake assembly is simple but some parts can be hard to find. Hopefully most of yours is there!!
