Tire size

What would the stock wheel and tire size have been on a 1964 Comet 202 with a 170 and what would that tire size translate to in modern tires? My car currently has 14" steel wheels. I assume they are stock but can't be sure. Was about to buy tires and was thinking 205/75r14. Is this comparable to the original tire size in height from the ground to the top of the tire when mounted? Would like to stay around the same tire height. Also, if I'd planned on dropping the suspension 2" all the way around would a 205/75r14 give me any trouble in the fender clearance department?
