The front end is on and we are working on the wiring. Waiting for axles so I can build the rearend. I had wanted to drive the comet on July 1st but looks like it will be the 3rd or 4th.

Great to see you are making progress!! Make sure you install some type of brace to replace the stock shock tower brace!! I use the adjustable one that MPG out of Colorado sells. ROY.

The rearend went in tonight and it is sitting on the Mickey Ts. Looks cool can't wait till all the wieght is on so I can see the real ride hieght. Take the rearend out tomorrow and finish the mods to the rear suspension. Ron will work on the wiring and hopefully I'll have the windows in by saturday and running also. Lots of stuff to do after the car is running.

We ran the motor last night.

It sounded great with open pipes. Hope to get the back brakes finished tonight and then my first drive.

I'm racing Aug 7,8

and maybe on Aug 28,29. One of the biggest problems I have run into on this build is the loss of shop space. I used to have this white 16 foot storage unit

but now I have a comet.

I drove my comet out of the shop on monday. Hope to take it for a real drive today. The car had not been out of the shop for over 18 years and man was I happy.
