The cheapest kits are still around $650.00 and they are usually for 65 up. ROY.

Stroked;yes I have heard of them but I have no input good or bad.If they have one that fits your spindle I would say go for it!!! I went with used Kelsey-Hayse and ended up spending at least $500.00 on new parts!!! ROY

find a mid to late 70's granada and get the disc. plain old bolt in. rotors, calipers, bearings, and seals cheap and new at the big box auto parts stores. will have to change the tie rod ends to mate up and clip the spindle stop off the strut rod but no big deal. of course granadas are getting hard to find but worth it if you can find one. worked for me. the slotted rotors shown on mine we bought from summit on sale for $80 for the pair, which at the time were the same price as stock ones from autozone/advance, etc.

I have post on a few different threads on this forum that I used a conversion kit from scarebird. It worked great for me. The was around a $200 and I spent another $2-300 on new rotors and calipers and hoses. I like their kit as it uses comon parts on the stock spindles.

I put the discbrakeswap kit on my 64 comet and have to say the quaility is good plus the guy dennis was very helpful.Granted I havent driven the car yet but it went together really well also.I used the swap #2 it is the granada design so you can grab the pads at any auto parts store when they need them. And it was pretty cheap compared to other kits.

The first year the Aussie Falcons came with front disc brakes was in '65. They were standard on the Fairmont, and most of the Coupes, but they had to have 14 " rims so they could clear the 10. 3/4 inch rotor and caliper . All the other marques had 13" rims drum , 4 stud/lug.

These early Falcons can now be retro fitted with later vented Falcon disc and spindles.

These are the original Girling calipers on my '66 Fairmont. I am updating the pads , tie rods, ball joints to get it to being road worthy .
