So yeah, did I pay too much, I don't think so as I wanted that car and it wasn't outrageously out of the ball park as value. I have seen others cheaper, dearer, but are they as good. Doesn't matter, I wanted it and grabbed it.
that was all i was saying

Prices have to be realistic as he's got another one for sale also and both cars aren't worth what he thinks he can get.I always laugh at people who say this car or that car sold at auction for this price when they don't know any such thing to be true. Most contracts with dealers or auction houses state that an employee, representitve or principle can bid the car up to the reserve price or price the owner wants.Doesn't mean it sells or was sold but these people will say such and such car brought X amount of dollars when it went back to the original dealer in all reality.Dealers trade and finance cars so that makes up alot of price as they win in the long run. It's the nature of the game to try and screw the most money you can out of somebody but only works for those who don't know any better or one that hasn't done their homework!

Im not trying to screw anybody out of their money,or mislead, these cars are exceptional cars, and true enthusiasts should be happy that our comets are being considered as investment grade cars. if anybody is interested Id be happy to send any pics, and left them consigned so that they could be viewed any time of the week.
thanks

Shoot high....why not!
Gives you plenty of wiggle room for price adjustments.
These cars may be reaching a point of some collectibility. Especially the Cyclones. I just saw a 65 Cyclone steering wheel sell on Ebay for $600 plus! Thats a good steering wheel I think.
Good luck...I hope you get every penny of the asking price.

I see the time capsule is for sale on the internet NOW and I find that funny.Instead of paying someone else to sell these cars this Forum member could have probably sold it here to one of the forum members for alot less money that would love to have it but that's always the motivation,MONEY so lets see if one of their buddies bid it up or if it comes up for sale again later. The other one will be next as it was sold out of the country and still here or so it was told!

Spike if you dont want it...dont buy it. If you dont like the price...dont buy it.
In other words..dont buy it.

You PUNKS must have a problem with truth and since none of you BOYS know me don't comment.I don't want to buy that Comet never did and I didn't see him offer it for sale here but instead ask about what it was worth and Crites does sell junk.Know alot of people who have bought junk from him and sent it back because if you have to refabricate his stuff you may as well build it yourself. But really guess none of the big mouths on here commenting know what knowledge or homework is!
