Anyway to my question. What does the rear mounting braket that was mentioned look like? I don't have one and I have never seen one on e-bay or on any of my COMET sites. Could someone enlighten me?

Hi You Guys, I found the question and answers about the correct 65 console very interesting! I have the console with the trim ring around the top and I think that is correct for the 65 Comet. I bought a repop lid but it had the center indent which I think is Falcon!

It's a stamped piece of metal that was spot welded to the tunnel and picked up the 2 holes at the back inside bottom of the console.
I took mine out and lost it!
