‘64 Caliente on BAT
‘64 Caliente on BAT
There is a 1964 Caliente on Bring a Trailer, looks to be a 20’example. The door jambs and trunk are definitely rough, the interior has issues.

Idaho plate but being listed as being in Granite Falls WA. just about on the coast.
That would make for registration problems up here, is going across state lines easier south of the 49th.
I didn't go through the ad, maybe the seller is in Idaho.

Dealer owned in Washington state, Fred. Holding Idaho title. Not a private sell.
Has anyone found a suitable 'wood-grain' applique for the dash? Pretty solid car.

There are quite a few suppliers of wood grain. When I did my Cyclone I bought the black camera case material in a pre cut kit then asked the supplier for a piece that I could cut to fit the radio delete plate. I am sure you could find the wood grain in sheets.

Cool That would really help the interior of the car. The console lid is a bit distracting, as well.A/FX wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 8:41 pmJoe,

Doesn't look like much work to get this one in great shape. This could be a great deal @ no reserve for someone within driving distance.

Why does it bother me so much that the horn button is upside down? Looks pretty solid, if the price is right it could be a cool car.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

I like those teaser props, too. Like a good lookin' woman flashing a little cleavage. Makes you want to get a peak underneath. In your case, she's sporting a nice pair of 4V's.

I guess that is one way to look at it! Actually looking at cleavage is like looking at the sun..you can look at it longer if you wear sunglasses!Jims65cyclone wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 9:59 pmI like those teaser props, too. The hood props keep the hood low so if someone wants to look at the engine they can’t lean on the fenders.

Might help keep the thieves from making off with stuff too. After some chevy lowlife stole my chrome saginaw pump cap at a cruise in I just leave the hood down unless someone ask to see under there. that way I can walk away & mingle .A/FX wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 10:18 pmI guess that is one way to look at it!
