Re: rear end
Safe to assume you don't have the tag on the pumpkin?
It's going to be either a 7.25", 8" or 9" rear. My 67 was originally a 6cyl/200 and came with the monstrous 7.25" with a 3:20 gear set. Believe it or not even the lowly 7.25" units were available with limited slips.

Re: rear end
well according to the kevinstang link, if my memory serves me right, it tells me my rear end is a 9in, i wouldnt of figured it had a 9 unless it had a larger motor, do you know of any comets 289s caliente with 9in rear ends? just seems like they would offer the 8" for my 289 instead, aww now off to my car to go investigate

Re: rear end
If the tag is on it all your questions will be answered If not one of these fellas born with a ford emblem on their rump could probably tell you with a pic. This car is the first time I have ever bothered with a rear end swap so I'm pretty new to all of it.
