Remote Mirror Hardware

Post by Lakeview »

Does anyone have any information regarding the mounting hardware for a remote mirror for a 66 comet. Looking specifically for any of the parts that secure the controller to the door panel. I am aware of the interior bezel nut but nothing else. Any pictures or a description would be appreciated.

Is there any kind of bracket or another nut on the back side of the door panel

No, I don't think so. If I recall correctly it just seats on the door frame. I used a repop for a 67/68 mustang. The cable was barely long enough but it does work. You'll need the bezel on the inside and I can't remeber if the repop comes with a new nut but you'll find that out when you look them up.

That interior nut is all that holds it.
