What does a '66 Comet weigh?

Anybody know what a '66 Comet Capri 2 dr HT, 289, C4, 8" rear would weigh ( roughly)? Just curious...when I get it legal I can get it weighed at a scale somewhere.

bratt your probably looking around 3450 lbs with around a 45/55 wieght bias to the front

ya no doubt bratt . i scored a set of c9ve-a heads from my boss friday and im seriously considering putting my 69 comet on the track this year and do a total redo on the cyclone for next year. and i think i found you some k code cyl heads for your 289

Hey great stuff...if I'd thought quick enuff I could have sold you my E350 van which has a 460 in it. but then the 233k miles might have scared you off even though they're propane miles.
