Re: before and after, thoughts?
I don't care for either one. I restored a 67 year's ago. It had those hub cap's. I walked into the junk yard and there was a mint set of 70's Granada alloy wheel's with a new set of Michelin's made in Spain. $175 for the set. I took it to the tire store and had the whitewall's turned in and that Cyclone went way up on the cool scale for me. I think there are very few aftermarket wheel's that work with whitewall's. Those in my opinion don't. No disrespect to the fine car; you asked and I responded. It's all good.
Edit; Pop's I just read your remark's; like button hit again.

Hubcaps look better than the aftermarket rims. I on the other hand prefer the 66 styled steels or the mercury style wheels.
I did try a set of TT d's on my hard top. Didn't look good, maybe it was the color of the car. They look better on Fairlane's. Once again just my opinion.
Sorry pic is of a Polaroid pic.

I like the wheel covers and it's not even close IMO.
When in doubt I always choose the stock look.
Great looking car!

You need to decide what kind of car you want to have. Stock, modified, retro, drag or whatever. Doesn't matter what we think, you need to be comfortable with your choice. Me personally, I like Cragars because I'm a senior citizen and that's what was in vogue back in the day......if you could afford it.........if you couldn't afford it you stayed with hubcaps, baby moons or just fresh painted bare rims.

Re: before and after, thoughts?
I've never cared for style whls rather they be mercury or mustang, and I NEVER cared for those cragers,in fact I bought a 2 whl trailer to haul my 4 wheeler on and it had a pair of cragers on it and I took them off and threw em in the scrap pile, took the orignal steel whls from my comet and put on the trailer...all this is JMO ,but to me,a set of THRUST D's make a scab look good,,,but like Albert said...the car belongs to you so do what you like and the rest of the world will just have to grin and bare it which way you go ,you still have a nice car ...pop
