Well if your gonna do big wheels that is the way to do it.
Imo, the bigger they are the more they need to be buried under the car.
Not really a big fan of big wheels but that Pshop makes them look pretty good.
Fred
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

If those were my only two choices I would certainly not lower it and put air ride suspension on it. Still think hubcaps are your best bet.

Since your Pshopping, put some tires on it, raise it up to ride height. looks like it is sitting on rims. big wheels are ok but I never have warmed up to the tires with no sidewall, or car squatting when parked, just harder to get out of. they need to put that on big tall 4x4s to make it easier to get in.

On a '66-'67, especially in white, I think a set of the repro Magnum 500''s would look darn good. 15x7 in front, 15x8 out back with some fat Cooper Cobra RWL meats!

Also, I saw a white '67 Cougar recently with original Cragar S/S rims - looked good.

And yeah, there's always the inimitable Torq-Thrust and its variations!!

Thanks. They are 17 inch wheels, so not really that big. But i personally wouldnt want any bigger. Gotta have at least a little meat on the tires.

I like how changing the wheels made the car look blue instead of maroon

I like them not too big, in my opinion.
