A Racing Tribute to Roy
A Racing Tribute to Roy
Loman is racing today in Sikeston, MO (look out for the throwed rolls).
He's flying Roy's NHRA number today in tribute!
And with Roy gently pushing the pedals from above, Loman posted his fastest time in four years

100% bad-assery...love it!!!!!!!!
Re: A Racing Tribute to Roy
I've seen other guys put their buddies number on their cars in tribute for friends who have passed. So I thought the best way I could honor Roy was to put his number on another 65 Comet and let him go down the track a few more times. I just wished I could have put him in the winners circle. A big thanks to Groover for posting the pics.

Loman, What a nice tribute that is for Roy. He would have surely been riding along.
I think he would have been at CHRR this weekend if he could. The people who would normally be there as well must surely miss his presence. He is missed around here. RIP Roy.

Re: A Racing Tribute to Roy
We were fortunate to have Roy here and that he made a lot of suggestions etc. we at least still have all of those we can look back at if we have a question about something because he (and others) have probably already helped on it.

Roy will live on through the legacy of his knowledge and experience he has left on this forum. We are now the stewards of that legacy.lavron wrote:We were fortunate to have Roy here and that he made a lot of suggestions etc. we at least still have all of those we can look back at if we have a question about something
