Stacy, cool video. It makes me wish I would have taken videos when i built my car. To have some narration with pictures would be great to help remember what and why I did some of the things that I did.

The dash had Futura trim added (not). I welded all those holes up. The radio had been butchered then another face was somewhat tacked in. This was a ton of work to straighten.

Looks great, Stacey. Man, that dash has more curves and contours than a mountain road. I'll bet you had LOT'S of fun working it out.

It occurred to me while working on this over the weekend that the Mustang double humped dash was inspired by the Falcon dash.

Mustang is just a Falcon in disguise.

Great work, at least you didn't have to worry about block sanding that to get it flat.

Cardboard console template done. I'll make it out of luan, then pad and vinyl cover it. It looks wedge shaped but it is 8 inches wide front to back.

Keep the pictures coming. I have to do the same thing. I'm interested in how you put the council together and cover it. Thanks. Love your work

Do you plan to install a repop Falcon console lid or make your own?

I will double pad the lid and cover it with the same cloth the seats are covered with. The rest of the console will be vinyl. And shoot, I just realized I forgot adhesive when I was at Lowes early this morning. They had some nice 1/4" birch plywood. I bought a grade 1, 1 x 3 to rip into 3/4" x 3/4" reinforcing strips.

More to follow.

I moved the shifter to the left side of the shaft and made a shim to get the shifter closer to the driver.
