Classic Fords (inc a 64 Cyclone) Racing in England

Post by The Transplanter »

May be of interest to some :)

Personally I love seeing these classics being driven hard 8)

This race is at the historic Goodwood race track in southern England

The Cyclone is stickered up as a Bill Stroppe car

Enjoy

THAT!!! was some of the best racing I've seen this year!!!
Any true racer would have got goose bumps watching!
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

Nice to see it was dominated by Fords, of course the Comet was the best looking one there :D

Yep, awesome!! My youngest wee-man (not yet 5) watched it with me. He recognized the Comets & ‘Stangs and asked about the Falcon - told him they’re basically short Comets with two headlights! :D Gave him the scoop on the Galaxie also!!
'cause Johno says you gotta have a sig pic! :)

The car is owned and raced by Roger Wills and its raced all over Europe, there are plenty of pics of it on the net.

They also run the Shelby cup at the Goodwood revival with a similar line up, which can be found on Youtube :) Bill Shepherd who drove the Galaxie in that race is the official Shelby distributor over here
