Kustom Nats 2018

Post by BJB »

Held at Philip Island with track work and show being held Sunday. Saturday was a scorcher of over 107F but Sunday was just perfect.

If you're a missing a few Mercurys , well we pinched them and you now know where they ended up.......PS well your country was founded by persecuted religious souls, ours was founded as a penal colony...old habits are hard to break.

cheers cobbers....

Bruce

Great pictures Bruce as always. I enjoy seeing a car show in 107 degree weather while I'm here in Michigan at -3 degrees. Andy

Some neat cars! Our high was in the 40's today, which pales in comparison to Andy, but is still below normal for our part of SC. I've had ice completely across my pond for over a week now, which is unheard of around here. I'm ready for some warmer weather.

Andy, my friend in Okemos MI has to clear the snow from the footpath...apparently it is the law.

Seen the snow only a few times in my life....I can live without it...

Cool pictures as always. I really like the black & yellow 56 Merc.
I'll take some of that warm weather your having. I left work yesterday and the temp on my truck said 48 degrees ( it reached 60 degrees a few hours earlier) . My drive home takes 40 minutes. When I got to my house, the temp was down to 30. It dropped 18 degrees in 40 minutes. About 3 hours later it was in the teens.

Isn't that what they say about living in Missouri; If you don't like the weather, wait a couple of hours and it will change. Pretty much sums up Thursday for sure

John,

Sunday the 18th of Feb.... I plan to be there.

I'll keep an eye out for you. Is your truck and car going to be in the arena?

cheers

Bruce

PS...the Kustom Nats last show is next year....pity...but time and costs caught up with the organisers.
