Re: 1962 Comet Build Thread

Re: Finally building my 64 Comet

Re: ‘64 Cyclone at Mecum auction
I saw this while looking through the lots being offered at the Kissimmee auction: https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0121-444669/1964-mercury-comet-cyclone/ They make a big deal about the headlamps, T3’s were used on GM vehicles, Ford products used Ford oval logo headlamps. Being it is a Mecum auction I ...

Re: 65 head light retainer clips

Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread
Mike I did the same repair on my Falcon I used the machine in the attached video it worked great. Since your using a stud style puller it will take longer but the video shows the technique. Start at the ends three or four studs at a time and work towards the center. If you end up with a line of rai...

Re: Z-Bar?
I have the borgesen box, & I used the stock z bar, but a highly modified z bar .took a lot of cutting ,testing ,& welding.as far as I know I'm the only dumbass to do it so I would not recommend it . I have dougs headers . but mainly the problem I had was the box clearance with the z bar. with the hy...
