Have you tried your spare set of points & condensers? or your spare coil? always nice to rule stuff out.

But keep in mind the manuals were most likely published earlier in the year. they had to be ready before any of the cars were made. so if a new trans came out early in the model year it still might not make it into a manual. yours looks like oct 19 built car which would be 63 . but manuals had to be...

I'm ''Guessing'' C4,3 speed ,& that the manual came out before the trans. I think it was about that time the auto trans went from 2 to 3 speed.

Basing my guess from 65's ,they had a 6 code & was a 3 speed c4.

The only time I took anything to the track was a 78 suzuki gs750. had a blast. I was probably 19-20 yrs old. Though I didn't know the process of it all. I thought the time trials were the races because they went on & on,,, a big wreck on the interstate that most of the racers were hung up in traffic...

with a 4 dr about any that was narrow enough to fit would work where as if it was a 2 dr you couldn't use a 4 dr seat because it wouldn't fold up to get in the back seat so you got that going for you . What specifically are you wanting to do? re assemble? or ?
