Re: ‘65 Cyclone on BAT

Jim, did you look at the 64 pics in the link?
Couple things, 65 steering, have you ever seen a 64 Caliente radio block out with the woodgrain on the blockout?
Wonder if anybody that has done the upper control arm mod for the 427 street drives the car,, how does it handle?

Re: Let me start!!!!!!!!

Thanks much DR. Continually working on it over many years allows attitudes and ideas to change. So now I've got a car that sorta looks Prostreet but not, handles sorta like a Protour but not, late model power,,, but it's over 30 years old so not,,, kinda hard to define,,,,,, but it's still red!! Lol...

Re: Just purchased a 1962 trying to learn w/1st ever project car

The first thing I would probably look at addressing is the brake system (I sound like a broken record sometimes and this is just my opinion) and see about doing an upgrade to a dual bowl master cylinder because I would hate to see you crash your pride and joy and possibly be hurt because of a brake...

Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread

I like the 404 spears! At one point years ago I was thinking of getting a pair and using them on the inside as part of a custom door panel.
Your ideas for them should add nicely to the car.

Re: Engine bay room?

When mine were cut none of the mounting points of anything changed and the notch doesn't interfere with the movement of anything.
The towers were notched very similiar to Boss's along the coil spring and clearence for the upper a-arm was ensured.
Plug access was a breeze on the C.
