Re: 65 cyclone grille emblem

Jim has it right.
I have a good friend with a '62 Galaxie that has big heavy trim, a lot of it held on with this stuff.

My shock towers are in the scrap metal pile. So no worries there.
If I did a big wide motor like that I'd be tempted to bolt the towers in for "conversation" at shows,, lol.

They look great! The pinstripes will really accent the overlay on the flames.

Should be getting the Coyote for the 59 F100 project soon. Might just swing it over into the Comet engine bay for grins to see how it looks.
That would be a big grin from me!
They'll fit between the stock towers but headers and access to anything NOT😆

Re: 1963 Comet S22 Conv. project car concept

Sounds like you have answer to connect the steering components. Also, don't tighten anything down that has a bushing in it until the weight of the car is on it and the steering is pointing straight ahead.
Cool 😎 car man!

Re: 65 Gage Bezel

I don't have a 65 but that looks like a great alternative to the degraded stock plastic. For me it would be really exciting to be able to get alternative gage placement.

Re: Not Comet but cool yard art project.

No HOA, actually never heard of them till recently.
The yard "art" will take time to develop. Thinking psychedelic '60s, surfer music, Beatnik,,, but it could end up a buggy behind the garage too, haha

Re: Not Comet but cool yard art project.

I have no intention in using it other than as a static display,, yard art. I understand it to be a Berry Mini T originally developed by George Barris and others.
Once I get my display a bit sorted I'll post a couple pics.
