Finally got Antique Tags for the '65, took the girlfriend out to breakfast and ran some errands in it. Felt good to drive it without worring whether or not the inspection and registration are current.

hmmm..maybe ove the C-pillar back a little, even with the "C" on the rear tire. It needs another pillar or something definately. it would look cool tho'

I agree with sassy..it needs something in the middle, behind the door. but I like it alot...it would look cool...leather seats, a/c....what a cruiser!! Good luck with whatever you decide.

I was wondering something; do you think those AF/X racers (Don Nicholson,Sox & Martin,'Grumpy' Jenkins, Etc) cared about the cars appearance like we do, if they got upset if they chipped the paint or dinged the door....anyone have any insight?

I always thought Cyclone flag's were supposed to be red. Maruader's had the same looking flags on the fender's and they were black. So maybe the black one's you saw were really Maruader's.

Yea, give the guy the cold shoulder that has the same rare car and is at the same show as you. Don't go befriend him and talk to him....nawwwww....pick apart his car and ignore him. that's the way to do it. I wish these people didn't have Comets. You go up to them at a show with a big welcoming smil...

My father has a '62 Corvette. Big brake, fuel inj. car...very rare. He took it to a few car shows and the "purists" looked down their noses at this Vette that has *GASP* Cragers and a non original carburated 350 chevy..how could he do such a thing??! Another friend of the family has an original 62 t...

hey, I too am looking for the "camera case" dash inserts for my Cyclone. Roy on here told me about a guy selling them on Ebay. I looked and I couldn't find any info. When I talk to Roy, I will mention you name too.
