I got my 14 inch pizza pans today and trimmed one down. I coated it in blue tape to show you what im going for with the wheels

Wheels came in :) They are 16x8 Imagine a round tin,painted body color, that will cover all the spokes, leaving the chrome lip. The original hub cap will snap onto that tin. I had thought of that considering I have a few front wheel drive drivetrains sitting around. The comets and falcons front wheels are way far forward. The issue you may have is that the center line of the front axle on a FWD drivetrain is behind the engine. This means the engine sits way far forward....
