Re: ‘64 Cyclone update

All cool to hear 8)

How do the Air Fuel ratio gauges hook up? certainly, my car is going to have to go through a time of tune when I finally get around to installing the new intake system.

Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread

Went out this morning did a couple of tests, no blown fuses, power to the ignition module pink wire, no spark out the coil wire. Took the "Flux Capacitor" off and took it to town and had it tested at O'Reillys said it was bad and just exchanged it for a new one, I told him I didn't think I got it th...

Re: Lavron's '64 Build Thread

Was out messing with the exhaust issue on the Comet at the end of the day today, started it up to see if I was making any progress, it sat and ran for a few minutes as I walked around the car listening for unusual noises then it shut off on its own and wouldn't start again, I just packed it up and c...

If I were a rich man, I'd buy you a Cammer and a straight axle.
Joe, I appreciate the sentiment but I am pretty happy with what I have :P

Re: New ‘65 Caliente project

Man both body styles HT and 2 door sedan look pretty badass on a 65. 64 not so much. I know the '64 sedan looks slightly better than the '64 HT by just a slight advantage but then again the '64 is the best looking Comet of them all  :P  None of this diminishes the fact Jim picked up a re...

Re: Pop's Cobra build.

Pops is the brake lock working ok on the Cobra? You guys have any issue with it leaking around the knob? And finally, can you push the knob down without pushing the brake to release it? I was looking at those and a lot of the reviews were talking about them leaking around the shaft but those might b...

Re: Home Made Sequential Taillights

Hey Mike....looks like more than one set of "accidental" burnout marks on your floor. Ya need an anti-slip pad on that clutch pedal? You are supposed to be looking at my taillights, not the shed floor  but it happens, it is raring to go. I have never owned a car in my life that so easily cuts...

Re: 1963 Custom Sportster

Welcome to the Forum JT. I think it comes down to what you want out of an old car, it doesn't have to be that expensive (relative) if one is willing to do a little sweat equity and turn a few wrenches on their own, if someone has to farm everything out to professionals the cost will add up pretty dr...

Re: Home Made Sequential Taillights

Just a teaser, I wired up a test assembly and tried it out, it is a short video, less than a minute. :P

https://youtu.be/jV8a51746JE

I have an adjustable flasher unit on the way so I can slow the flash down just a hair, I can also adjust the flash speed if I need too.
