Hope they don't tear it up. An expendable movie prop.

Re: What were they thinking ???
NOT my style, but amazing workmanship. The shop is located outside Birmingham, AL. The car is located in SC. Judging from the Palmetto palm trees in the pics, its in the low country, probably somewhere near Charleston. I'd like to know how much $$ was invested in that build.

Re: Car Lift and Garage
Added another piece of "garage art" to my new garage over Thanksgiving. It's the original steel hood that was on my car when I bought it. I changed it out a number of years ago for the fiberglass Cyclone hood that also came with my car. It was stored under my house, and I wanted to get it out of tha...

I foresee a father-son car project in the not too distant future. I bet Groover and his son will tell you its a worthwhile endeavor.

Dan, that table looks like it might weigh more than your car! How'd you get that thing into your shop?

Re: 1965 Comet Caliente (little red)
Looking at Jim's red Comet Cyclone picture above I think my Comet sets about like his right now. Chris, here's a comparison of the rake on our cars. Note the yellow lines tracing the rocker panels and where they strike relative to the center of the wheels. https://i.postimg.cc/rpK2SP1K/Rake-Compari...

Paul has some excellent YouTube tutorials, too. I've been studying them for my T-5 rebuild.

Re: Wazza's 64 Hardtop - Aus
Great information, Warren. You've completed a lot of wide ranging work on the car in just 5 months! I hope I can be half as productive as you when I get my project rolling. I'm slowly creeping up on my starting point now that I've "finish" my garage. Went this afternoon and borrowed my son-i...

Re: Wazza's 64 Hardtop - Aus
Warren, you scored a great find! Mechanical issues can be easily fixed, but a car as relatively rust free as yours is the holy grail. That Bakersville, CA climate certainly did you a favor. I'll be following your build closely for tips on mine. I found a set of Cyclone wheel lips for mine a while ba...

Those wheels look familiar... As far as the 65, the name of the salvage yard probably says it all.

Re: 67 Caliente i am interested in buying.....
Mechanically its built on the same platform as the Fairlane, so that broadens the mechanical parts search. The 65 is a one year body, so not sure you'd be much better off if you needed body parts.
