You stalked that project for a long time, but when you pounced you went for the kill. Looks good. I know you're itchin' to get it back on the road. It's been a while.

We stayed in Moab when we visited Arches national Park. Beautiful country. Your car is looking great, too!

Spring is finally here! Beautiful day in the upper 70's. Went to Cars and Coffee this morning and another local cruise in this afternoon. The guy with the "Gears" built Cougar was at C&C again and let my 9 year old grandson sit behind the wheel. https://i.postimg.cc/k4fPYRxq/IMG-0212-1.jpg https://i...

We are in the zone of the eclipse tomorrow, but may have overcast sky's? Hot dogs and hamburgers and family coming over to the shop to party. We were in the total eclipse zone back in 2017. It was a phenomenal experience! Hope the clouds hold off for you. https://www.cometcentral.com/forum/viewtopi...

They look good to me. If someone calls you out on it, that's their problem, not yours.

Re: Can I fit 15×8 Magnum Wheels on the rear of a 1965 Comet Convertible?
First, welcome aboard, Pete! :D The answer to your question isn't straight forward. As far as what's the biggest tire you can fit on a 8"x15" rim, it looks like about a 295/50 according to this calculator: https://www.tyresizecalculator.com/tyre-wheel-calculators/wheel-rim-size-calculator At least t...

Good to see you back on your thread again. Pushing that clutch pedal is good physical therapy, too. You should aim for at least 100 reps/day to build your stamina.

Re: Wheels + Tyres for 64 Comet Caliente
If you have any designs on upgrading to front disc brakes in the future, you're better off going with 15" wheels. Tire availability is better with 15" than with 14", too.
