Factory markings under fender
I just pulled off my fenders to start paint prepping them and found these markings underneath.
it appears to read 27-123 7/A W-9 and then 27-123 again. Does anyone know what this means or if it was done by the factory?
Car is a '67 Comet Voyager if that helps.
Thanks!

Re: Ford 8" upgrades
I kind of hate to say it, but the best mod for the Ford 8" is an 8.8" LOL. The axles out of a '95-'03 Explorer are the same width and bolt pattern as the Comet's 8". They also have disc brakes and come in your choice of 3.08, 3.27, 3.31, 3.55, 3.73 or 4.10 and limited slip or open. I'd also recommen...

Coyote Motor swap in a '67
Hi all, I'm wondering if any of you guys have any speculation on the fitment of a Coyote and the matching factory 6 speed manual in a '67. I know I will have to notch the shock towers because the distance between them is 29" -exactly the same as the motor. but what about the oil pan and the transmis...

Anyone know how to confirm spindles are original?
My car has been customized here and there by the previous owner, it's lowered has a new rear end and has the engine and trans out of a 90's Mustang... with that said I'm not completly sure the spindles are original. Anyone have pictures of theirs or tell-tail signs they can share to help me figure o...
