Quarter window regulator source

Do any part suppliers who carry the quarter window regulators? It looks like the door parts are well represnted but the quarter glass, not so much. They would be for a '65 Cyclone. Thanks.

CSRP vs Chockostang front disc brake conversion

I see CSRP and Chockostang disc brake conversion kits are popular with members here. The kits for a '65 Cyclone are similar in price ($46 different) so what's the difference in the kits?

Re: Front Springs

That's a coil spring booster/spacer. People use them to lift, stiffen, or make up for weak springs. My car had 3 on each side. The previous owner took a lot of travel out of the springs and made it ride like a straight axle.

Re: Spongy brakes

Mine did the sane thing. I'm using Dot 5 and couldn't get the sponge out. Turned out the shoes were to far off the drums. I manually adjusted all four corners and presto, I had brakes. No guarantee, and your results may differ.

Mustangs Etc. has exactly what you need.

https://www.mustangsetc.com/speedometer ... -200-3spd/

Call them to order and be sure to get the correct left hand driven gear.

Re: MSD dizzy cap problems

I had the same problem. I closed the spark plug gap to .035 and the problem went away.

Re: 65 Cyclone Steering Issue

If you measured only the visible part of the shaft, I suspect you have a 40'' shaft which isn't that much longer. It would be easy enough to move the seat mounts back an inch or so if it was a hindrance.the shaft of my old box measures 39'' exactly from end to end.Today I mocked up my old box which ...

Re: 65 Cyclone Steering Issue

I have a steering box from a 65 comet dismantled. shaft is 39'' from end to end. since you dont have a tag to identify it you'll have to measure, I understand that, but I dont know where you put your tape measure. You didn't mention how big your gap is,or where on the box you put the tape. some shaf...

65 Cyclone Steering Issue

I've replaced my steering column and I have an issue with the fit. I can't seem to get the tube up far enough to close the gap at the steering wheel adapter. (I think it is a Grant wheel) The box I removed was an HCC AM1 with a June 65 build date and the new one has no tag. The distance from the ste...

Speedometer cable hole

I have a '65 cyclone with a T-10 passengers side speedometer gear. I need to see a picture of the correct firewall hole to run my speedometer cable through. The firewall has way too many holes and I don't know what they're all for. Thanks for any help.

Re: Speedometer drive gear wanted

Mustangs Etc is producing a replacement that is supposed to fit. I've ordered one with the matching driven gear and I'll see if it works.

Speedometer drive gear wanted

I have a '65 Cyclone with a HEK-AD Borg Warner T-10. It has a passenger side speedometer cable. I need the speedometer drive gear and related parts. I don't have a drawing and everything in the tail housing is missing so I don't know what all I need.

Thanks for any help,

Newbie from Michigan

Way back in '67 I bought a used Ivy Gold '65 Comet Cyclone. I drove it for a while and then traded it in for a '68 muscle truck. As time passed I went through a series of cars but kept remembering the Comet. Over the last 20 years or so I've loosely watched the market thinking it would be kind of co...
