Re: My Cyclone build
I'm still looking for a stock hood. If anyone within a thousand miles has a good one I'll come and get it. I'm in the Los Angeles area. (661)886-4804 Finished the interior of the Comet. Had a custom headliner made for it that would fit over the roll bar. My car originally had the cardboard headliner...

Re: My Cyclone build
Got my Cyclone up and running. Didn't realize my last post was so long ago and went to page 4. Sorry. You can find a more detailed build on this car at Ford FE.com Got the car painted. It was in bodyshop hell for 7 months and the end product isn't that great. It'll do. I do not at all understand car...

Quarter window rollers and rivets
Does anybody know where you can buy the quarter window rollers and rivets for a '65 Cyclone. I am in process of re chroming the pot metal portion of the window frame and had to remove the plastic rollers along with their rivets to prepare them. Are new parts available? The lower middle roller and ri...

I need some small stuff
Hoping somebody has a source. I need the plastic "squares" that the headlight doors screws into that go into the fenders extensions. I need the "J" nuts that clip onto the dashboard that the screws that hold in the instrument cluster screw into. And, of course, I need the plastic clips that hold the...

Re: My Cyclone build
The body is going to be bright white.
I plan on stitching up a black rubber floor mat for the front feet and firewall area.

Re: My Cyclone build
I got a little more done on the Comet. First, I painted the front sheetmetal with Eastwood chassis black and ran my brake lines. IMG_3266.JPG Then I painted the floors and firewall, trunk, and inside the front fenders with RED bedliner. I painted inside the front fenders because with the hood open t...

Re: My Cyclone build
Took the Comet to Ellis Fabrication for headers and exhaust. I wanted a gasser style fenderwell header and some Cherry Bomb mufflers. I think it came out pretty good.

Re: My Cyclone build
Got some more done on the Comet. Fiberglassed my wheel tubbs to the body and Herculined the inside. Painted the framerails and sheetmetal underneath. Had my pumpkin rebuilt with a Detroit Locker and 3.70 gears. Put new heim joints and bolts in the 4-link. Installed new brake shoes, springs and hardw...

Re: My Cyclone build
Thanks for the kind words. That's what keeps me motivated. I ran the intake for several years on my '56 T-Bird in its "normal" configuration. That car had a 428CJ shortblock, solid cam, and Edelbrock heads. I always thought it would work better and look cool will sideways 2V carbs so I had a friend ...

My Cyclone build
I just introduced myself to this forum last week. I've already placed a wanted add (for a headlight ring) so I thought I should post the car I'm building. It's a '65 Cyclone that was tubbed back in the Pro Street days and first fitted with a 351C and then later with a 351W. I got the car when the dr...

I would be very grateful if I could get the ring from you. Let me know how you'd like to communicate.
Thanks, Tommy

1965 stainless headlight ring and Cyclone molding clips
I need the headlight ring and spring for the lower left headlight. I have the bucket and the rest of the headlight rings. I also need the molding clips that fit onto the rivets that secure the Cyclone rocker molding. I have a red Cyclone center console that's in pretty rough shape to trade. The plas...

Re: My name is Tommy...
I'll be ditching the small block for a stroker FE. I like small blocks just fine...but I've always been a 427 fan.
