Have the frame ties tacked in place.....should make it feel much more solid, don't have any previous experience with them. Now my buddy who welded out the front end is going to do the same here.

I'm thinking in the lines of a masonite floor with standoffs under to clear it all with a carpet cover. Mostly lawn chairs is the only thing ever in there. My plan, if it all works like I hope, is to do one of the drag weeks or the power tour, then there will be lots in there.

They worked in my 64 with the zbar.....I changed them because I installed a Heidts front end and also the Hydramax throw out so no more zbar. It too is a 347 with Dart heads

well making some progress all be it slow.....the under dash panel is working out so far, still need to cover inside firewall with dynamat or equivalent before final install.
