PETRONIX IGNITION
Has anyone experienced a Petronix Igniton acting up or misfiring? I have had one in my 1965 289 MUSTANG for 10 or 12 years and it has performed flawlessly. I am trouble shooting ideas as to why I now have a rough running engine that spits, barks and is generally undriveable. I think the culprit is b...

BRAKE FLUID
I recently lost the brakes on COMET. Thank heaven I spotted the puddle on the garage floor before I took the old girl out for a spin. I could see the fluid was seeping out from inside the left front hub so I proceeded to disassemble that wheel and what I found was an unsightly mess inside the wheel ...

Re: BRAKE AND CLUTCH PEDAL PAD TRIM
SORRY GUYS,
I thought that you all knew that the saying; "My clutch is slipping"! meant that my memory isn't what it used to be! LOL! Sorry for the confusion but I hope it gave everyone a chuckle! Anyway I'm still hoping that someone can help me find the pedal trim.
Kind Regards, TOM

BRAKE AND CLUTCH PEDAL PAD TRIM
Hi, I may have asked this once before but with my clutch slipping the way it does I'll try again to be safe. Does anyone know where I can find stainless pedal trim for my 65 CYCLONE? I just installed a LOKAR cable set up for my accelorator and would love to trim the other two pedals to match. THANKS...

BRAKE/CLUTCH PEDAL STAINLESS TRIM
Last night I posted a question about brake and clutch stainless trim. I posted this with another question about steering wheel repair. The wheel question was answered but this one was not. For some reason it did not post so I'll try again. Will MUSTANG trim rings fit on my 65CYLONE pedals? Or instea...

Does any one know where I can find stainless trim rings for my clutch and brake pedals? Do MUSTANG rings fit? OR, can a guy change rubber pads from a MUSTANG and install those on the pedal supports? THANKS and Kind Regards to all,TOM

Hey, that was a super suggestion! I never thought of that. I was not sure that a MUSTANG wheel would fit. I really like the idea of adding a few black swirls. Anyway with a lace on wheel cover who would know; Right? As always, "Thanks for you help"!!

STEERING WHEEL REPAIR
Has anyone attempted to re epoxy a simulated wood steering wheel? I'm referring to the type one finds on CYCLONES and FALCON SPRINTS. Is it too difficult for the average Joe or should a guy just go to a pro? Also, does anyone have a lead on a good repair shop that does this? The crack in the hub does...

FUEL LINKAGE
Has anyone used either LOKAR or other less expensive brands accelerator pedals in their COMETS or FALCONS? I have a very nice lokar cable set up from my carb to the pedal. The pedal I scrounged from a 72 TORINO and it works fairy well, however I can't get enough throttle travel to engage the seconda...

Re: ELUSIVE SOCKET SIZE
Hey poboyjo, Just a short note to express my gratitude for your help in locating the socket! I ordered the little bugger this morning (SUN). I had been on a web site featuring SNAP ON tool but unfortunately I failed to go to Snap On's Home Page. This is not the first time you have helped me and as a...

ELUSIVE SOCKET SIZE
Hi Guys, Does anyone know where I can find a1/4" drive 5/8" deep socket new or used ? Believe me I've tried and it seems ALL of the major manufacturers make 1/4" drive up to 9/16" only. Maybe these critters just are not made, altho I have a hard time believing that. Any help will be appreciated. Kin...

WHICH BATTERY?
Hey guys; Time for a new battery and I am here again to get some valuable info. My 6 year old EXCIDE 720 in my 65 CYCLONE just won't hold a charge over the winter. I have a disconnect switch on it and keep it on the BATTERY TENDER during the winter (MONTANA). I have a similar set up on my 65 MUSTANG...

BACK SEAT SEATBELTS
Hi, I am wondering if anyone has installed back seat safety belts in their 1965 COMET, FALCON or MUSTANG? It seems like a pretty straight forward deal but maybe some belts work better that others. I ALWAYS like to ask because there is always someone who has done it, no matter what "IT" is! Thanks to...
