66 FE Header/manifold Options

I know this is an age old topic, and I see the off the shelf options. But one thing I've not seen is someone making headers or manifolds from another application (mustang, cougar, truck, etc) fit by modifying the car. Anybody seen this? I'm just wondering if the reason this isn't done is because it'...

Re: Parts Source for 66 Cyclone

Wow, thanks for the answers! I guess I shouldn't throw these away, haha.

Yes, 2 of the smaller brackets do have bumper bolts in them. I should have put 2 and 2 together.

Re: Parts Source for 66 Cyclone

Yes, I have seen some reproduction sheet metal that will work for some parts. It doesn't look bad in the picture, but once you start digging you find that the reproduction stuff doesn't cover everything that I need. You all have fantastic looking comets/cyclones! Does anybody know what these parts a...

Re: Parts Source for 66 Cyclone

Thanks for the welcome. I attached the only decent picture I have of the car. It is pretty rough because (it appears) it spent much of its life sitting outside. Parts Source for 66 Cyclone

Hello, I'm new to the forum and have a 1966 Cyclone that needs a lot of work. Probably hasn't been on the road in 40ish years. It needs a lot of sheet metal work (inner cowl, trunk gutters, floor pans) and miscellaneous parts (door handles, trim, etc). Does anybody know of a good used parts source f...

66 Cyclone Project

Hello,
I'm new here. I bought a 66 Cyclone convertible about year and a half ago that I have been slowly working on. It needs a lot of work. It's basically a roller that likely hasn't been on the road in 40ish years.

Looking forward to participating in the forum!
