large bearing spindle - outer tie rods
Hi team, Shown in the pics below are some moog tie rod ends that are suppose to be 69 to 73 mustang. And also i'm showing two spindles.......left is a C8 (for comparison) and the right is a D1ZA. The tie rod will not fit the C8 at all, but only goes part way on the D1ZA, doesn't seem to go enough to...

Re: Buckets for 65?
good thing it has the tracks ,they are hard to find. the outer mounts same as a bench seat holes. on bucket seat cars the inner rear mount came from the factory with just a spacer . so use what ever you decide for the spacer. My 65 already had the holes but had been brazed up. it kinda seemed like ...

Re: Buckets for 65?
Well I did manage to score those seats after all. Was a 6 hour run there and back but I understand they are hard to find. Cheers I call that a win! Anytime you can score something rare on a day trip. Joe Thanks Joe. Now I need to find out where they bolt to the floor. Is there suppose to be extra f...

Re: Buckets for 65?
Unfortunately they aren't in my hands yet. The guy is going to let me know  If it doesn't work out, something else will come along. I love the old T-Bird seats but they're probably getting hard to find. Had chrome frame around the bolsters. Had a green pair in a black Mustang long time ago :mr...

pitman on top?
Hi all,
Does this look correct?
The rod end of the pitman arm goes on top of the center link if manual steering and using the correct center link for a 65 comet/falcon?
Because if I compare it to a 67 mustang I have here, the pitman goes underneath on that one.

Re: 65 going to try spindles from a 71 mustang
Finally got my shipment from OpentrackRacing.
I didn't know the pitman arm ( rod end ) was tapered.
Best way to learn is to have these things in your hand.
At least it took the guesswork out of which way the pitman sits.
