Re: Gauges Read Low

I don't know the answer to this, but I'm good at random thought and I'm following closely for whomever has an answer. Many moons ago, I spent a summer with the gauges in our 64. I took them all apart, tried different combinations of voltage regulators, calibrated and re-calibrated to get them correc...

Hey Sparky,

Where in DE? My daughter lives in Wilmington so I get out there a few times a year. If you're close, I'll stop in and tell you all the things you are doing wrong ;)

Re: 67 Caliente i am interested in buying.....

get underneath with a small hammer and tap away on frame rails and torque boxes. A magnet to the fenders and doors to look for any body filler. Good luck.

Re: 61 4dr. firewall Jute/cardboard and floor mat

Hi John, Great to see another person who cares about this detail ;) I don't have a photo, but I'm pretty sure the rubber goes under and the jute comes over the top. The insulation is held in by those plastic plug/retainer clips so it springs back a little and stays over the top. Somebody else may ha...

Lou, this car along with your craftsmanship continue to amaze. The question on mine (and perhaps others minds) is... will it make it to Pidgeon Forge one day? Cause that will probably guarantee the highest attendance/turnout ever. :)

Remember, everything along with path with just a little slop is added together, so some wear in the steering box, the pitman arm, the control valve (which with the whee...
