Re: New Comet owner

When I bought this car the wiring was pretty hacked up. One of the tail lights is missing the plug. I have found that I can order new plugs from CJ Mustang but does anybody have another solution. BTW the U-joint I have been waiting for from Unisteer is on its way. With any amount of luck the Comet w...

Awesome looking car, would look great parked in my garage. Now would be a great time for you to upgrade the complete wiring with an afterm...

Re: New Comet owner

Thanks for the encouragement. It has a 289 that somebody put a cam and four barrel on sometime in the past. Starts up smooth with its pertonix ignition. It has a C4 green dot transmission which is definitely something different than I am used to. I have the hopefully last part, a new U-joint, on ord...

New Comet owner

I have been lurking for a month and decided to jump in. I just bought a 65 comet that looks real nice but has a horrible steering problem and wiring that has been chopped up pretty bad. Good news is it also came with a new unisteer manual rack and pinion in the trunk that I am currently installing. ...
