well at least you know how to check all the main stuff now, Pop has got you trained pretty good! fire, gas & air, timed. Did you tighten the dist.? it could have moved if you left it loose. thanks Roy, I was thinking about getting a machine shop where I used to work to mill out guage bezel on a cnc, then chome it. Real crome would look good on both sides wouldn't it?

didn't you say it (coil) was cracked? < check spark at plug? good hot spark? hold it on a ground & spin it over with your r. starter. keep checking everything, I'm sure there will be a "A HA :!: " moment! if your doing at lot of pumping & alot of cranking its easy to flood or wet foul the plugs, eve...

That funny me too! alot of lookin at a comet trunk, was in my new office , on a bucket in the tankhole. I think I got it all figured out . now if I can figure out this computer.

I had a chevy buddy that wired the dist. clockwise on a 302 , he was doing some head scratchin when I got there. Just a thought.
