I think those are from a 66. I had the same issue with mine, the pedals I bought were a whole inch short from the firewall to the where they mount up with the steering column. The reason I know this is because in the second pic you posted where there are the holes there should be nuts that the brack...

Got the stance where I want it now. 1" lowered spring with a full coil cut off and 2" lowering block in the rear with stock leafs. Still have to get the exhaust done and change the pumpkin in the 8" rearend to 3.55 posi. Also have to figure out how to mount 67 cougar seats in the car. http://i1172.p...

Found a tunnel hump out of a 72ish maverick same shape as comet hump, going to take off shifter and do some modifications to the new tunnel, also going to use the lokar round shifter boot

Took the car on its maiden voyage since motor and trans swap and I have to say it went well, the t5 definetely worth it :D, also lowered the back 2" going to cut the coils in the front tomorrow and put on 17x9's with 245/40 in the rear and 17x8's with 225\45 in the front and see how they fit. Got all the wiring under the hood done and fast as the UPS guy dropped off the headers I was installing them, finally broke in the motor, also lucked out not having to cut the driveshaft after auto to manual conversion. All in all very productive

Its different for sure I would use the original style setup, I'm putting a clutch cable in mine with pedals out of a 67 fairlane and had to do a lot of modifications

I think I might have to shorten drive shaft cause it was originally

Got this done today and used original trans X member and mount without modifications
and the pitch of the motor is night and day difference. Curios how the 4 speed hump would be
