Not much to show on the Cobra but thought I'd share a pic of the latest shop addition.
This along with the lathe we bought a couple years ago has been a longtime dream.

A few pics from this weekend. Steering shaft assy, dash panel, seats and a few other panels were mocked up. Just an FYI, look at Speedway Motors in the oval track section at some of the rear disc kits. These are a good way to get 11" to 11-1/2" rotors and still be able to run most 15" wheels.

We used a LOKAR "knock off" from Speedway in Ole Rusty. With proper pedal indexing and cable adjustment it works great and a lot cheaper.

A little update from last Saturday. The "post 1970" 4 bolt balancer and driver side water pump are gone and a new 3 bolt balancer and pass side Edelbrock water pump along with the correct pulleys are installed. Took the 289 apart to inspect everything. New rings and gaskets ordered. Hope to have it running on the break in stand real soon.
