Re: '64 Cyclone Road Test article

The reason I raised the front of my car was because the header flanges got snagged on my trailer when taking the car off. My trailer has about 2' at the back that turns down and there is a metal I beam going across which hides the ends of the wood flooring. I will trailer the car if I take it to the...

Re: ‘64 Villager Wagon on BAT

Continuing the hi jacking... I took my drivers test in San Francisco in my Dad's '69 Colony Park station wagon. The thing was huge! Barely fit in the lanes on the one way streets around the DMV. I had only driven it a few times (learned in the '65 el Camino) before taking the test (I passed). Wish ...

A/FXJim yes it worked great, that's the way I did it the first go around. I found that tip on this forum somewhere. one idea spurs other great ideas so it's great that we can share with each other from so far apart .
I'll second that

I just bought a new emblem and stuck it in the frame. looks like brand new. Think I got it from auto crafters.

Re: Doug's 65 Cyclone build

I'm in the same boat as Johno. I have 15 X 7's on the front but no rubs. It must be within 1/8" though. I have 15 X 8's on the back but I have a narrowed explorer rear end with a triangular 4 link that doesn't allow the back to move around at all. My rims also have 4.25" back space. :D

Re: Stroker choices?

I thought 4:11 was to low in my Mustang. It was bouncing off the rev limiter before I got it shifted, but I'm old. Way to easy to spin the tires so I went with 3:55. Still having to much fun
