I don't get jealous of other people's stuff much but seeing a red Comet on a lift, that kinda gets me a bit,,, lol.
Congrats on the great place you've created to do Comet stuff!!
Thanks, Fred! You're welcome to come use it any time. Just 2,600 miles and 39 hours away. Might need to plan a long weekend, though.

Thanks, Jim! I'm chomping at the bit. Still got the deck to get built, though. As much as it goes against my grain to hire someone to do what I'm perfectly capable of doing and enjoy, I'm about ready to hire that deck built. This delayed gratification is getting old! :x

I dig that stance!
Serious, looks like old Gas class racer. :D
Thanks, Joe! It sits like my first Cyclone did back when I was 17, so I've got a soft spot for that look.

Thanks, Tom. I'm in it every day working on something, but not the Comet yet. :x I'm about ready to tear into the T-5 tranny I have and see what kind of shape its in. I can do that while I keep driving the Comet with its T-10. I've also got some leads on a couple of 302's and a 289. I thinking of getting one of those to rebuild while the car is still drivable. I'd like to have those two pieces ready and waiting in the wings, along with redoing the two bucket seats to replace the bench, so when I tear into it to rebuild the suspension, do the disc brake conversion and install the EPS, the engine and tranny will be ready to go in, too. Hopefully minimize the mechanical downtime. :D There're a lot more items on my list, too, but that's a start. I've shamelessly stolen and bookmarked a number of ideas from your build thread.
