Ok im trying to install a sunpro tach on my 1963 mercury comet its a 170ci 6 banger. So far I cant get the thing to read the rpm's! Anyone have any suggestions as to what I have to do?

Scratch that. My red wire wasn't connected! Man am I stupid!

Don't feel bad. I have a mid 70's Sun SuperTach tach that I couldn't get to work, I called the restoration people for assistance before I realized that the wire I spliced together years ago came apart with miminal effort. Duh. .
