AFTER MARKET A/C

Post by birdman31 »

I have a '62 Comet Custom 170ci 2.8L inline 6 manual transmission. ANYONE HAVE IDEAS/ADVICE with regard to purchasing an after-market A/C for it?? I understand that it will most likely also need a better radiator and possibly fan motors?? I live in the southern desert region.

I've used Vintage Air, Classic Auto Air and most recently Old Air Products. The latter came with a project Falcon. I did not need their tech line help but Vintage and Classic have good tech help lines, or they did a decade ago anyway. They are helpful when you're trying to figure pulley configurations. Bottom line; hardware is pretty generic, so look for price.

There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.
