I was already doing that myself, no one even needed to ask me.

I really don't have a problem with quarantine either as long as the welding wire and gas hold out and I have some scrap metal and old Comet parts that need to be put together. My wife may not share my enthusiasm at times

I'm quarantined as I had contact with a contractor that had contact with someone that tested positive for covid-19.

Hope all is well Roger!

It’s a mad house here in California! Folks were panicking but it seems to be mellowing out.
I’ve been spending more time with my 2 kids because they’re out of school. Mountain biking, building models and fishing today. Also were gonna have a metal fab seminar in the garage this weekend

Take care all!

I came upon this social distancing tool earlier. It was a stick with a ball on top that had the numbers 1-5 with an R too. I found out the higher the number, the more the distance. 8)

I’ll give you the quick Joe version:
Drink beer.
Cut piece of metal. Beat piece of metal profusely. Check for fit. Cut and beat some more!!
Tack weld it in place. Beat some more until it’s glowing red. Finish weld.
Drink beer

I prefer to think of it this way...I value my personal space more than "normal" people!

I'm often outstanding in many fields...being a farmer (farmer's hired man that is) :D

Back in my younger days I would take a motorcycle out to Willow Springs racetrack for track days. It was a 1000cc Suzuki twin that was a brute! That’s my only track experience.
I’m looking forward to finishing this Falcon and getting it out to the same local track.
I’m closer than ever!

I own lots of hammers Fred! Otherwise what would I throw across the garage when I’m pissed off!!??!!

Yes! Track days on a motorcycle! That would be something I could really get into.
We have great roads to ride around here with very little traffic but, can never go all in cause a person needs a reserve,, for the deer around the corner, bit of gravel etc, plus my old Suzi is far from a track bike!
I think in a car once you get familiar with it and the tires are at the verge of giving up on corner exit, your foot through the firewall with about a foot of pavement left.
At that point your thinking, couldda braked later with a stiffer front shock, oil pressure is good, then you think what do I need to do for the next corner.
Those are times I enjoyed the most as I'm sure you will!
