Back when I had red hair

Post by SASSY »

Son and I spent some cold winter nights on this stuff.
The bag it was in has been taped up for over 30 years. Sean has started building again SO peaked my interest enough to see what was in it.

I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about

Revell got all of my allowance money when I was a kiddo, Fred.
I like your Bill Elliot T-Bird. I was a big fan of that car when Ernie was building his engines. They were mopping up with that car.

I was a big Bill Elliot fan, then moved on to Mark Martin. Living near Michigan International Speedway, I went to many Nascar races in the 90's. Lost interest sometime in the 2000's. Not sure why but it just did not appeal to me anymore.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

Same here, I was a fan in the 60’s through the 80’s, then lost interest because the drivers who were real men retired and the kid’s who cried constantly took over. (Except for a few) Also the “cars” were no longer “stock cars”, more like an early funny car. I had reserved seats at MIS and went to Daytona twice. Now I don't even stop to look at a race when channel surfing.
Still have a 12 pak of Bill Elliot Coors sitting on the self.....
