Cruisin is about done for another year.

Post by SASSY »

Getting pretty late in the cruising season around here! It was a great day saturday so I was out pounding out a couple hundred miles celebrating 49 years of ownership.

Nice pictures Fred, I usually keep "cruisin" here in Michigan till about Thanksgiving. (USA thanksgiving, not Canadian lol) But sometimes it can be earlier or later.

Yes Boss sometimes it will go later but we get stuck staying in the valley. There is snow at 7000 ft now and coming down the mountains as I type(raining here at the moment). 3peak winter tires were required as of Oct1 till May1 on the passes but enforcement is usually weather centered.
Actually seen quite a few Whitecaps on a motorcycle ride about 10 days ago.

Beautiful pics, Fred! Fortunately, we get to cruise year round here. Got a C&C Saturday morning and another cruise in that afternoon, if it doesn't rain.

Our season is just about to the end also. The weather is cooler and the list of events has dwindled to just about nothing. Besides the farmers in my area are harvesting their crops and making a real mess on the local roads. I might be able to sneak in one or two more drives before the white stuff arrives.
At least when the weather is bad there will be time to spend time working on the Comet and other projects.
